Blogging in Education
Blogging is a topic that was brought up in my masters class and the role it has in education. Do the pros out way the cons or vice versa? Can we have blogging and trust the content of students to be responsible. I agree that blogging is a great writing tool that allows one to publish their writing work. The question is what is getting published. Do we trust students to withhold from gossiping, inappropriate postings etc? That is the question. Probably why blogs are blocked by the districts filter system. Blogging in education is benificial if and when it is controlled and monitored.
