Timetoast allows people to create interactive timelines, which they can share anywhere on the web. Anyone can join Timetoast and start creating and sharing their own timelines, all they need is a valid email address. It’s completely free!  Here is the direct link

Timetoast is an easy way to create timelines for your class schedule, class presentation, or simply a lesson from history. I have created a timeline for my students to demonstrate how to build a timeline.  They will use the same technique to build there own California Mission timeline.

You can embed your timeline into your website.  Just like the example here.  I have embedded a timeline on Earthquakes in California:

    Dear Mr. Selak,
I truely enjoye reading your post along with all your websites ( I cannot count your websites ^ ^* ). Your information makes me upgrade in educational technology. At this time, I understand easily how to use for students practically Web service such as timeline. I like Timeline Generator as you recommended because this is very useful in all subjects. I think that it is better for students to visualize with interactivity like your example. Moreover, I feel always you are a good teacher whenever I am in the class with you. I have learned that American teachers including you do their best to make the important connections with students needed in order for them to be successful in their learning. I would believe that American students that are connected with their teachers are more engaged and learn better. If I work for Korean students, I will remember your passion and endeavor and I will do that like you. Thank you.
