Testing is next week.  We will be testing English Language Arts and Math Tuesday through Friday for Fourth Grade.  I have included some links to resources below so you can look at them and go over some example problems at home to help review for the test.

Goal: Write a report on the contributions of someone who immigrated to the United States. Write a report about him or her. Include:

• where the person started from
• when he or she immigrated
• what major contributions this person has made
• why you think this person is important

TIP: Think about people who are influential in different areas of life, such as art, sports music, literature, government and film. Explain why you think this person should be recognized

Sorting States

Goal: Sort the states of the United States into different categories

How many ways can you categorize the states? Create webs that show the different categories. Use a map to help you. The same state can be used more than once. Share your webs with a classmate and talk about the different categories you choose and why
